Why your Drop is not selling
Your Drop is live and nothing happens? Cover, preview, title and description decide whether anyone clicks at all. What you can change.
The Drop is finished, published, and then nothing happens. No sales, barely any clicks. The obvious explanation is that the content was not good enough. Usually that is not it.
Because nobody has seen the content yet. What they have seen is a cover, a title and a few preview images. That is where it is decided whether anyone clicks at all.
The cover decides before anyone reads
In the overview your cover is almost everything. It sits next to dozens of others, at a size where detail disappears. Whatever does not land in half a second on a phone does not land at all.
What helps: a clear composition instead of many small elements. Something still readable as a thumbnail. And a mood that matches the rest of the package, because a cover promising something the content does not deliver earns you a bad rating rather than a repeat buyer.
The preview is not a best-of
The most common mistake. You pick your best media as the preview, and after that there is no reason left to buy.
Preview means showing that quality and mood are right without giving away the package. So one strong image that proves the style beats three that show everything. Anything you do not mark as a preview stays private until purchase, so the selection is entirely yours.
The title gets searched
The marketplace has a search box. Whatever someone types has to appear somewhere in your title, otherwise your Drop does not show up at all.
"Set 3" means nothing to anyone and nobody searches for it. A title naming the theme, style or setting gets found and is also understandable while scrolling. Descriptive beats creative, at least here.
The description answers one single question
Namely: what is in it? How many photos, how much video, whether there is audio, what it is about.
That sounds obvious, but it is the point where most purchases fall apart. People who do not know what they are getting do not buy. A few concrete lines do more than one sentence trying to set a mood.
After the first sale you cannot change it
This is the part many notice too late. As long as there has been no sale you can change or delete everything freely. From the first sale onwards the Drop is locked, so buyers can rely on getting what they paid for. After that you can only take it out of sale.
In practice: cover, title, description and preview belong before publishing, not after. Build it as a draft, leave it overnight, look again, then publish.
Regularly beats perfectly once
Buyers can sort by newest. Every new Drop puts you back at the top, regardless of how well known you are.
A Model with four solid Drops over two months gets seen more often than one with a very good Drop from six months ago. So when nothing is happening, the next Drop is often the better answer than reworking the old one a third time.
And when it runs
Earnings from sales are held briefly and then paid out. For the payout you need a complete billing profile. You can fill that in before the first sale arrives, then it is not in the way when the moment comes.
Up for it?
Build the Drop as a draft, pick cover and preview calmly, then publish. How the start works is on the Models page.
