How to Manage Notifications

Customize email, push, and digest notification preferences.

1. Notification Center

Click the bell icon in the header to open the notifications popover. For a full view, click Notifications in the sidebar or navigate to the notifications page.

The notification center shows all your recent notifications, including challenge updates, application status changes, messages, and system announcements.

2. Mark Notifications as Read

Click on a notification to mark it as read and navigate to the related content. You can also use the mark-all-as-read option to clear all unread notifications.

3. Configure Email Notifications

Go to Settings → Notifications to customize which events trigger email notifications. You can enable or disable emails for:

Challenge updates (new applications, status changes)
Messages and chat activity
Support ticket responses
System announcements

4. Enable Push Notifications

Enable browser push notifications to receive real-time alerts even when you are not actively using the platform. You can toggle this in your notification settings.

Push notifications are especially useful for time-sensitive events like new applications on your challenges or submission reviews.

5. Email Digest

Instead of receiving individual emails for each event, you can opt for a digest that summarizes your notifications periodically. Configure this in your notification preferences.
